that funeral

Yesterday I walked to my best friend's house,
she's just lost her daddy suddenly,

I just can't imagine how hard it will be,

I mean, face the next days without your daddy,

the one that always teach you much lessons to be learned.

really, i just wanna hug her that time,

i was speechless, had nothing to say,

she tried to give me smile and said thanks for our coming.

dear my best,

I know how much you love him,

As much as he loves you,

And each time that you think of him,

I know he'll miss you too.

When tomorrow starts without him,

Please try to understand,

That an angel came and called his name,

And took him by the hand,

And said his place was ready,

In heaven far above,

And that he'd have to leave behind

All those he dearly loves.

But as he turned to walk away,

A tear fell from his eye,

For all his life, he'd always thought,

he didn't want to die.

He had so much to live for,

So much left yet to do,

It seemed almost impossible,

That he was leaving you.

He thought of all the yesterdays,

The good ones and the bad,

He thought of all that you shared,

And all the fun he had.

If he could relive yesterday,

Just even for a while,

He'd says good-bye and kiss you

And maybe see your smile.

But then I fully realized,

That this could never be.

But when he walked through heaven's gates,

He felt so much at home.

When God looked down and smiled at him,

From His great golden throne,

He said,

"This is eternity,

And all I've promised you.

Today your life on earth is past,

But here life starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow,

But today will always last,

And since each day is the same way,

There's no longing for the past."

So when tomorrow starts without him,

Don't think you're far apart,

For every time you think of him,

He's right here, in your heart.

strong dear, we'll always be there when you need our hugs.

big love, xoxo.
